Our mission is to encourage a restoration of biblical discipleship in and through the local church by equipping men and women to know God’s Word and make disciples.

What is IT?

Over the course of nine months, Downline Discipleship Training walks participants through the Bible, from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. In addition, the Downline equips participants with in-depth knowledge of God’s word, biblical manhood/womanhood, and practical discipleship so that our graduates can make disciples in their homes, churches and communities. Downline Discipleship Training requires four hours per week of class time. To complete the training, we also ask that you keep up with Scripture reading, re-teach one lesson a week, and memorize a verse of Scripture each month.

What is the schedule?

Classes will begin on September 16, 2023 and conclude on May 25, 2024.

We will meet International Evangelical Church on Saturdays from 9:30am - 11:30am to hear live teaching. On Wednesdays, we will watch recorded videos. The group will meet on at IEC from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, but if you are unable to join us, you can also watch the recordings from home.

*We occasionally have an additional classes when teachers visit from out of town. Information will be provided accordingly.

What Can I Expect?

Downline begins by doing an overview of the Bible. We then walk through the entire narrative of the Old Testament, Genesis-Nehemiah, as well as teaching practical evangelism and discipleship. After Christmas, Matthew, Lukan Parables, Acts, Romans, Ephesians, Hebrews, 2 Timothy and Revelation are covered. In addition to studying these books of the Bible, participant also learn biblical manhood & womanhood.

Who can participate?

Downline Discipleship Training is aimed at worshippers at IEC who desire more training in discipleship. It is designed for lay people which may include those who work, are single, are married, are parents, and have a busy life.
