Kem Wilson has served on the Downline’s board of directors since its inception in 2006. Kem is the chairman of the board with his family’s company, Wilson Hotel Management Co., and serves the city of Memphis in many capacities. He is involved with Presbyterian Day School, Hope Christian Community Foundation, Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis, Baptist Memorial Healthcare Foundation, NEXUS, Fellows Program at Second Presbyterian Church, Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management, Country Place Ministries, HalfTime, Lead Like Jesus, World President’s Organization and the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Kem enjoys time with his family, his Bible study, weekly prayer group, hunting, fishing and golf. He and his wife Norma live in Memphis, Tenn. and have five children: Carey Wilson Snider, C. Kemmons Wilson, III, Katherine Wilson Blackney, McLean Wilson and Elizabeth Wilson Pelly, as well as 13 grandchildren.
